Wayne Rooney has joined Sir Bobby Charlton on 49 goals to become England's all-time joint record goalscorer.
The Manchester United striker tucked away a 13th minute penalty against San Marino in Saturday's Euro 2016 qualification fixture, slotting low to goalkeeper Aldo Simoncini's left and into the corner of the net.
United legend Charlton initially set the record over a 12-year international career that saw him claim 106 caps for his country, with his final goal coming in 1970.
But now Rooney has equalled Charlton's record over the same number of caps, with the current Three Lions captain making his 106th appearance for England in Saturday's clash in Serravalle.
