£22 million signing Heung-Min Son starred as Tottenham easily saw off Qarabag with a 3-1 victory in Thursday's Europa League group match.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were comfortable for much of the game, but went behind early on, thanks to a Richard penalty on 7 minutes after a foul by Spurs right-back Keiran Trippier.
But, following the Qarabag goal, Tottenham's latest signing showed his quality as Son tapped in a simple goal from a corner on 28 minutes, before displaying great composure to finish a well worked Spurs move after 30 minutes, giving Pochettino's side a 2-1 lead.
Qarabag threatened in patches after Son's brace, but failed to seriously test the Tottenham defence, with a dinked finish from Erik Lamela rounding off the victory on 86 minutes.
Dele Alli, the youngster signed from MK Dons in the transfer window, looked promising throughout the match, going close with a curled shot late on.
