Real Madrid handed James fitness boost

Real Madrid have been handed a fitness boost after Colombia's doctor confirmed James Rodriguez escaped serious injury during their 1-1 draw with Peru on Tuesday.
The forward was withdrawn on 59 minutes after hurting his knee in a collision with an opposition player, prompting fears he could be set for a lengthy absence.

However, further tests carried out after the game have confirmed James has suffered no lasting damage.
Colombia's doctor Carlos Ulloa said: "He took a big knock to his knee but he is in no danger. We will see how he feels today but he is fine."
James scored twice in his last outing for Madrid as the club beat Real Betis 5-0 on August 29.
