Hamann: Bayern should replace average Guardiola & Klopp cool for Liverpool

Do you agree with all he said? There have been reports that Jurgen Klopp - who left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season after a successful spell - could replace Guardiola next summer.

It could send shockwaves through German football given the 48-year-old's allegiance to Bayern's arch rivals, but Hamann believes he could end up in the Premier League.

"This discussion has already been going on for a long time and in Liverpool, the pressure has increased again.

"The question is whether Jurgen Klopp would join Liverpool during the season. Had they asked him before the season, I would have been 99 per cent certain that he goes there.

"Many people say he will appear in Munich on July 1, but I don't know where he would fit in. I think at Liverpool he would fit perfectly."
