Dinamo Zagreb coach Zoran Mamic admits Champions League opponents Arsenal are “frightening” and has revealed that he has turned to Slaven Bilic for advice on how to beat the Londoners.
Arsene Wenger’s side travel to Zagreb for their Group F opener on Wednesday and Mamic has been highly impressed by Arsenal during his scouting trips, especially after the 2-0 home win over Stoke on Saturday.
Mamic said: "I have watched Arsenal in many games, I went to see them against Stoke this weekend and I got the impression they were playing in second or third gear, and should have won 10-0!
“It is frightening and fascinating how they play. I believe we will be better than Stoke.
"Cazorla and Ozil are key Arsenal players, but the team is so strong that danger comes from everywhere."
Dinamo have lost their previous six matches against English opposition but Mamic has been taking tips from West Ham boss Bilic – who beat the Gunners 2-0 in August - as he plots the club’s first win in a Champions League match since 1999.
Mamic added: "Yes, I have spoken to Slaven Bilic, he gave me some advice.
"This is great reward for me as a coach and for our team. We are aware of the reality and quality of our opponents, but with fanatic fight we can achieve something."
