Shaw suffers suspected broken leg during PSV - Man Utd clash

Manchester United have been dealt a blow after Luke Shaw was stretchered off with a suspected broken leg in their Champions League clash against PSV.

The defender was caught by Hector Moreno in the 14th minute after he broke into the hosts' box, and play was delayed for around 10 minutes before he was eventually helped from the pitch.

Marcos Rojo came off the bench to replace the former Southampton left-back, with Louis van Gaal seen consoling his player as he left the pitch on his first-ever outing in the Champions League group stages.

The England international has been a key player for United this season, starting all seven matches to date as well as both of England's European Championship qualifying clashes.
